I got this email as a forward this morning. There was a cousin who visited us over the weekend and was discussing about his daughter. Though many families are going nuclear in India, there are still families where joint family system prevails in India. The house if full of people, children running here and there, oldies watching television. The double income parents have to strike a balance between their children and their kids. The issues revolve from the childs eating tantrums to fighting for the remote to watch the channels of their choice. Because of this there are homes which have two televisions now. Everyone has a choice of their own to watch various TV channels. Children want to watch cartoon channels and the oldies have a series of soap operas to be watched on regional channels. The parents now are worried as to how to strike a balance between both? This conflict is bound to rise in many homes. The role of a manager now doesnt end for many in the office, they have to be extremely good managers on the domestic front as well. Here goes the story and the moral also follows.
