DSN - The Master's Grace

The DSN program from the Art of Living - I experienced this in the last 3 days. Let me tell you I have no words to describe it. I did my basic course in 2002 and subsequently repeated a couple of basic courses and then went to do the Advance course. I had done a couple of advance courses also in the Bangalore ashram, but this DSN was an amazing experience because the master was right there in his physical presence before the DSN started on Thursday, 10th September 2009. The course was happening at Manandi, Jaya nagar 5th Block. I left office early as the reporting was on Thursday evening at 5.00 pm. As i reached the venue, I had a big surprise waiting for me. The banner outside read '' Lions Club of Bangalore'' invites '' Sri Sri Ravi Shankar''. First, I couldnt beleive it and read it again and again. There was no rush except for the people waiting for him inside the hall. Guruji had come to inaugrate a program by the Lions International Eye Bank for pledging eyes (eye donation) - Gift your sight, its divine. After inaugration, as gurudev walked out of the hall, he gave darshan to all the DSN participants. The divine has its own ways, Jai Gurudev!!

DSN

Breaking Boundaries of the Mind

DSN (Divya Samaj Nirman) is a unique program that trains one to break boundaries of the mind and go beyond oneself to serve society. The name, in Sanskrit literally translates as 'Creating a Divine Society.'

We all have personal barriers, old habits, or inhibitions that hold us back and keep us from fully participating in life. Yet we all have a deep desire to be the best we can be - for ourselves, our families, our communities, and even the world around us. Using a powerful combination of yoga, special meditations, breathing techniques, group processes, and deep spiritual knowledge, DSN empowers participants to break personal barriers and self-concepts.

This rigorous, delightful, and transformational course provides the first opportunity for the individual to take more social responsibility, and experience the power of one’s inner strength. This course is open to all those who have completed the Art of Living Part I Course.
